I did get a chance to go out and shoot a bit last weekend. A trip down to the estuary in hopes that I'll see one of the four or five Short-eared Owls that are supposed to be there would give me a photo op. No luck there but I did see some Meadowlarks, rare-ish for our area so that was unexpected!
While wasting pixels on a House Sparrow (can you see I was starved for photo ops?) this Bewicks Wren flitted through. These little ones never stay put long but I did manage a couple shots before it was gone.
Now, if only the rain will stop so I can get out and try for some Eagles!
